For Australian Primary Schools
Become a Partner School
We are looking for three Australian schools to use RethinkLit with at least one K-2 class for a full term, and tell us the truth about it. Full access for every participating student, at no cost, with a genuine say in what we build next.

Why we are asking
RethinkLit is built on structured literacy and systematic phonics, and every activity in it has been designed carefully against the Australian Curriculum. It is built by a teacher, so it is designed to support real literacy teaching rather than simply give children more screen time.
But no amount of careful design settles how something behaves in someone else's classroom, with a different literacy program, a different scope and sequence, different devices, and students who do not always do what adults expect them to.
That is why we are inviting three schools to become partner schools. We want to know where RethinkLit fits naturally into your teaching and where it creates friction, while it is still small enough for your experience to change what we build next.
This is not a free trial with a nicer name. We are asking for your time and your honesty, and we are being specific about what we give back for it.
What You Get
All of it, for a full school term, at no cost.
Free for the full term
Every module, every participating student, and all the teacher reporting, for one full school term. No cost, no card, no invoice, and no automatic rollover into a paid plan when the term ends.
A direct line to us
Not a support queue or a chatbot. You email the people who build RethinkLit, and we answer. If something is confusing, frustrating or plain broken during a lesson, we want to hear it while it is fresh, and anything stopping your class from working is treated as a priority.
A say in what comes next
That monthly email tells you what we are planning next and asks what you would move up the list. We will not pretend everything gets built, because RethinkLit is made by a very small team, but your answer genuinely moves the order.
A walkthrough, only if you want one
Setting up a class is a CSV import, a grade level each, and a sheet of QR logins to print. Minutes, not an afternoon, because we designed it to be. If you would rather be talked through the modules first, we will happily get on the phone. Most people will not need to.
No lock-in
Stop whenever you like, with no notice and no invoice. Export your reports, or ask us to delete every record and we will.
You see what your feedback changed
Your answers will not disappear into a spreadsheet. When something changes because of what you told us, we will tell you it was you. We cannot act on every suggestion, but you will always know it was read properly.
What We Are Asking For
The other half of the deal, stated plainly so there are no surprises in week three.
At least one class, using it properly
One K-2 class for a full term, roughly one or two short sessions a week. More classes are very welcome if you want them, but one is genuinely enough. We would much rather have a single class using it properly than a whole school that signed up and never logged in.
Five minutes a month, by email
We send a few short questions. What worked, what annoyed you, what the kids actually did versus what we assumed they would do, and what you would move up our list of what to build next. Answer it whenever suits you. No standing meeting in your calendar and nobody chasing you for a call.
Honest feedback, especially the unflattering kind
"The kids were bored and two of them gave up" is far more useful to us than "it is lovely". We are not looking for testimonials. And if something breaks or irritates you mid-lesson, just tell us then. In-the-moment beats politely recalled a fortnight later, and it never has to wait for the form.
Optional: let us mention you
If it goes well, we would love to name your school or quote your teachers. Entirely your call, and never a condition of the partnership.
Is This You?
We would rather save you the trouble than sell you something that does not fit.
A good fit if…
- You teach structured, systematic synthetic phonics
- You have at least one K-2 class, or Prep/Foundation through Year 2
- You have iPads, Chromebooks or laptops the class can use
- One teacher is genuinely willing to champion it
- You are ready to start now, or within the next few weeks
Probably not, yet, if…
- You need Years 3 to 6, because this partner intake is focused on K-2
- You want something you can set up and forget, because the feedback is the whole point
- You are after a finished, unchanging product, because this one will change under you on purpose
How It Works
The partnership can run entirely by email, so it makes no difference where in Australia you are.
You get in touch
Use the form below and tell us a little about your school and the class or classes you have in mind.
We reply with a few questions
A short email asking how you already teach literacy, what your class looks like, and what you would want out of this. No pitch and no sales call. We are both just working out whether it is the right fit.
You set your class up
Import your class list, set grade levels, print the QR login sheets. It should take minutes and you should not need us, but if you would like company while you do it, just ask. Either way you should be running your first activity the same day.
The term itself
Your class uses it, we stay close, and we build. Once a month a short set of questions lands in your inbox, and you can reach us any time in between.
You decide what happens next
We ask what you made of it, whether it is worth continuing, and if it is, what that would cost. Carrying on and walking away are equally fine, and nothing renews on its own.
About Your Students' Data
A partnership does not change how we handle student information. The same commitments apply from day one.
- Student data is stored and processed in Australia (Sydney).
- No third-party AI touches a child's writing. Handwriting recognition is our own model, running on our own servers.
- We never use student work to train models, and never sell or share it.
- No advertising, no tracking and no analytics inside the children’s learning areas.
- Ask us to delete a student, a class or your whole school, and it is permanently erased.
The full detail is in our Privacy Policy and Terms, and we are happy to complete your school's own privacy assessment before anything is signed.
Three Places, Then We Close It
We are keeping this small on purpose. We want to be genuinely responsive to every partner school, and we cannot do that at scale. Tell us about your class and we will be in touch.
